The COVID-19 pandemic brought forth a need and revolution when it comes to virtual learning and engagement.  In outdoor education, virtual field trips provide an opportunity to share outdoor spaces with students who may not be able to visit in person.  I co-created this virtual field trip to the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park with my colleague, Andrew Garcia. 

Zines provide a unique opportunity for information to be provided in an easy to digest and informal way.  My Zine, Free Patrol, takes complex natural science topics and distill it into a much more digestible form for outdoor instructors and participants. In the first issue (linked below), I focus on wind and air dynamics for paragliding.

Infographics are a way to provide information in an organized visual form to a varied audience.  I created this Infographic - depicting the difference between sea lions and seals - as a simple way for anyone on the WSDOT ferries to learn how to tell the two animals apart.
